WHO WE ARE
We are The Surviving Dogs Foundation.
We are a small, young and dynamic team that, after several years of experience at a fellow foundation, has been independently helping animals and their owners find a new home from home since 2023.
We do this purely and solely out of love for the animals. Their well-being comes first.
We operate from the Netherlands and Belgium.
We try to move the animals from their home situation to a new home.
We make home visits and assess the animals to see if they can be rehomed if the current owner has any doubts about this.
Even if people have problems keeping their animals, we will do everything we can to help them.
WAYS WE HELP
Finding the optimal home for the animals is our most important task.
The animals have the right to a good life and should therefore end up in an optimal environment where they are welcomed, approached and treated with all the love and care.
The Surviving Dogs Foundation puts their heart and soul into finding this ultimate place for the animals.
Mediation
Based on the information of the current pet owner, we try to reach potential new owners through publication on our website and Facebook page, with whom we contact to gather as much information as possible about the people in the family, their living conditions and the goal they want. achieve with the animal to which they respond to ultimately determine which match comes closest to 100%.
Customized support
We regularly see cases where the owner really has all the good intentions for his/her animal and is doing away with themselves in order to offer their animal more, but sometimes end up in a situation where they are unable to afford the costs to keep their animal safe. to have an animal taken to a vet for a vaccination or medical procedure, for example, or not having enough money at home to pay for food for their faithful four-legged friend.
The Surviving Dogs Foundation will work for those people by raising money through donations to solve the problems for those animals.

The Surviving Dogs Foundation is open to volunteers or people who are willing to take care of a dog temporarily.

HOW MUCH OF MY DONATION GOES DIRECTLY TO THE CHARITY?
Your donation will be entirely in favor of the charity.
